Advanced BioHealing’s Dean Tozer Elected Officer of the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine

Alliance aims to advance the field of regenerative medicine


Westport, CT – December 31, 2009 – Advanced BioHealing, Inc. (ABH), a leader in commercializing the promise of regenerative medicine, and charter member of the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM), announced that Dean Tozer, Senior Vice President, has been elected Treasurer of the ARM.

The ARM is a newly formed organization created to advance regenerative medicine by representing and supporting the community of companies, academic research institutions, patient advocacy groups, foundations and other organizations before the U.S. Congress, federal agencies and the general public. Established in July 2009, ARM aims to promote regulatory, research and reimbursement policies that will foster innovation in regenerative medicine and lead to transformative clinical outcomes for patients.

“Regenerative medicine has made incredible advancements in recent years, but in order to make the most of these achievements and bring new therapies to market, the industry needs to collaboratively promote research and policies that make the pathway to approval and commercialization possible,” said Tozer. “ABH is pleased to join the Alliance as a charter member and help raise awareness of these issues. I look forward to contributing expertise on commercialization and partnering with my colleagues on the Executive Committee to advance our common cause.”
